WINDER INSPECTIONS

Winders are inspected by trained crews for OEM specifications, correct set-up and alignment. We address side load, cant angle, slitter depth, sheet penetration, hub condition, blade condition, trim removal, slitting geometry, contamination, air supply, and crew familiarity with all correct settings. Inspect for blade and paper geometry including cant angle, trim removal criteria, band penetration, paper support, overspeed, side load, wear on parts, runout, blade & hub condition, air leaks, and pressure, blade contact, squareness, plumbness, and general operations.
